DEFINITIONS AND EXAMPLES
Students are instructed to understand and learn definitions with examples for examination.

Noun:
       The names of things, animals, colours, relations, days, months and body parts are called nouns.
Two types of nouns are:
1. Singular Nouns
2. Plural Nouns

Names of things: book, table, clock, lollipop, mango, house etc.
Names of animals: lion, elephant, dog, cat, tiger, monkey etc.
Names of colours: white, black, brown, pink, blue, green etc.
Names of relations: father, mother, brother, sister, uncle, aunt etc.
Names of days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc.
Names of months: January, February, March, April, May etc.
Names of body parts: eye, ear, nose, hair, hands, legs, fingers etc.

SINGULAL PLURALS
Students are instructed to learn singular plurals from different books and from elders. Some singular plurals are given below for copy work and for examination.
