Explanation: The poem tells a story about two siblings playing a spy game in their garden. The younger sibling had to retrieve two apples from a tree, which they pretended were gold. Their dad was sleeping nearby, and they pretended he was a ferocious beast. When the younger sibling successfully retrieved the "gold", their dad woke up and pretended to be the beast. The sibling fought the "beast" and won, then ate the apples as a treat.
