Introduction to Flash CS3

NEW WORDS
Students should extract new words by themselves from chapter No. 1 and write them on neat copies as vocabulary words. There is no need to memorize these words but students should be able to read and understand these words as I explained and discussed in class.

NEW TERMS AND ABBREVIATIONS
Students should learn these terms and abbreviation. It will be the part of exam.
1.    Flash:
       Flash CS3 is a software package with which we can create interactive web pages including images, sound, videos, animations and much more.
2.    Property Inspector:
       It is a tool which helps us to set the common properties of the selected object or tool.
3.    Document Properties:
       It is a tool to set the properties of video by using dialog box.
4.    Merge Drawing Mode:
       This is the tool which is used to erase the following:
       1. Overlapped area
       2. Underlying object
       3. Two merged objects
5.    Object Drawing:
       It is a tool that consider the overlaid objects as separate.
6.    Lasso tool:
       It is a tool use for freehand selection. It is used to draw irregular shapes.

Yes, there is a need of separate software because their focuses are different:
* Flash CS3 focuses to create and manipulate different objects.
* MS Publisher allows to manipulate the text and we can also use graphics with it.
