NEW WORDS

NEW TERMS AND ABBREVIATIONS
Students should learn these terms and abbreviation. It will be the part of exam.
1.    Lightworks:
       Lightworks is the professional software use for video editing.
2.    Shrink button:
       This button is used to reduce the size of videos.
3.    Importing a file:
       To open some file in the software called importing a file.
4.    Exporting a file:
       To save the file in the device created by software.
5.    Rack:
       It is the place where we put all the created projects.
6.    Slip a shot:
       This is a tool with which we can increase or decrease the duration of first clip, without disturbing the duration of middle clip.
7.    Transition:
       It means to change the appearance when it switches from one mode to another mode.

Answer: * Bins allow to keep all audio and video clips in one place.
* Racks will store and keep track of all the bins.
--- Bins and Racks are important features because for a big clip like movie has video and audio clips so user can easily save without loosing any track.
* All the rooms of one project are stored in rooms. It will organizes the project.
So,
* Racks and bins organize the individual project.
* Rooms maintain the organized data for different projects.

g. Evaluate the usefulness of 'slip a shot', and 'slide a shot' functions in making videos.
Answer: Slip a shot: This is a tool with which we can increase or decrease the duration of first clip, without disturbing the duration of middle clip.
Slide a shot: It allows the user to increase or decrease the first clip at it's end. Using this, we can increase or decrease the third clip in the beginning at the same time while leaving the middle clip intact.

h. Create a video about the hobbies of different family members and friends. To do this, first shoot small clips about each individual, making sure they are happy for you to film them. Then use Lightworks to edit and create a single video from the short clips. You can add a soundtrack to your video if you like.
