Muhammad Ali Jinnah is the founder of Pakistan. He was born in Karachi on the 25th December 1876. His father was a rich merchant. He sent him to England for higher education. There he became a barrister. On his return from England, he worked for the welfare of the Muslims. He demanded a free country for the Muslims. The Hindus and the British laughed at his demand. But M. Ali Jinnah did not lose heart and continued his struggle. Due to his struggle Pakistan came into existence on the 14th August 1947. The Muslim people called him the "Quaid-e-Azam." It means the greatest leader. He died on September 11, 1948. He is also called the Father of the Nation.
