Festival stands for the event, and there are different festivals in our country. In Pakistan we celebrate Islamic festivals and cultural festivals. Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Azha are our Islamic festivals. Eid ul Fitr is the biggest Islamic festival which we celebrate every year at the end of Ramadhan. It is a 3-day festival and every Muslim celebrates it. Eid ul Azha is also a very big Islamic festival for the Muslims. Muslims wear new clothes and distribute meat of slaughtered animals. Cultural festivals show the living style of people. Traditional sports, exhibitions of handicrafts, dresses, etc are also included in cultural festivals. Famous cultural festivals of Pakistan include Horse and cattle show, Mela Chiraghan, Urs Data Darbar, Sibi Mela, Shandur Polo Festival, Urs Pir Waris Shah etc. People celebrate these festivals with great interest.
