A prophet is a person whom Allah chooses as His messenger to people. Hazrat Muhammad (S A W) is the last and most elevated prophet of Allah. The Holy Prophet (S A W) was born in Makkah around 571 A.D. The name of the Holy Prophet's (S A W) father was Hazrat Abdullah (R.A) who had died before the Holy Prophet's (S A W) birth. Hazrat Muhammad (S A W), our beloved prophet belonged to a noble clan of the Quraysh. His grandfather Hazrat Abdul-Mutalib was also the Holy Prophet's (S A W) guardian. Later his uncle Hazrat Abu Talib acted as his guardian. The Holy Prophet (S A W) led a simple and honest life. Hazrat Muhammad (S A W) always had wonderful manners. He had never worshipped idols. He worshipped Allah alone. He taught the Arabs and his followers to worship Allah and give up idolatry. Even when he was a young man people started to call him As-Sadiq (the truthful) Al-Ameen (the trusted). He was kind and honest in everything that he did. The Holy Qura'n is also the last Holy book revealed to him by Allah. He was 63 when he departed this life. His life is the best model for all of us. We must follow the guidance in the Holy Qura'n along with his teachings.
